My name is Jordan Ballard - WA State licensed home inspector and owner of Tahoma Inspection Services LLC. I have lived in WA since roughly 1995 with a few years in other states. I have always been drawn back to WA! I recently moved to Tacoma. After seeing many homes in this area (while inspecting) it has made me realize that I really like the "soul" of some of these houses in this area. In my free time I enjoy dirt bike riding, snow skiing, hiking, camping, & kayaking along the Cascadia Marine Trail. The natural resources this state has to offer still blow my mind!

 

Previous to becoming a licensed home inspector, I was a H.A.W.K. Missile System Technician in the United States Marine Corps and have worked in the commercial and residential construction industry for 30 years. My experience includes:

• Managing the construction process for a high-end custom home builder as the liaison between the builder, sub-contractors, and homeowners

• Managing commercial construction on several projects in King and Pierce County

• Commercial construction sales for infrastructure projects including the Seattle Tunnel

• Owning, remodeling, and selling several homes. I am a true believer about being a good steward to the home while you own it!

With this experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge about structural, plumbing, finish work and whole house construction to each of my residential inspections. I completed my Washington State home inspector training through the School of Professional Inspection (Local in Burien) and American Home Inspectors Training. Only 1 was needed, but I opted for 2 to get a local view and also a national perspective. In addition, I am an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector® and have an FAA commercial drone pilot license.
